Almost 30 years of teaching experience working in British secondary schools. In 2001, I became an Ad
vanced Skills Teacher (AST) for Secondary Maths giving me the opportunity to share my considerable knowledge of mathematics and teaching with many teachers. I have been Head of Mathematics for over 10 years and this has allowed me to thoroughly develop leadership skills and to establish a strong track record in raising the attainment of students.
Building on this foundation of leadership success I moved onto spend three years as Director of Learning and as Senior Teacher before being appointed (2008) as a Deputy Headteacher.
I was the founder and executive principal for over three years for three private international schools in Kurdistan, Iraq.
Since December 2014, I have been back in the UK working in secondary schools and offering consultancy for a variety of departments in Hertfordshire and North London schools.
